Dates and times: Every Wednesday from 10th September to 17th December 2025, excluding 29th October half term holiday: 3.10 - 4.40pm. 14 sessions in total.
We’ll be exploring the dreamy world of painting! From the basics of colour mixing to mark-making, layering and juxtaposition, we’ll take your young artist on a (messy!) journey of discovery. Taking a playful approach, we’ll experiment with watercolours, acrylics, ink and mixed media and learn how to develop these experiments into finished pieces. Along the way, we’ll encounter the work of painters from across time: think John Constable’s 19th century skies and the quirky dreamscapes of contemporary Swedish artist, Emma Larsson. And - by the end of this club, they’ll be dab hands with a paintbrush!
The Art teacher will pick children up from their class teachers at the end of the school day and take them straight to the club.
